Handy Hints-Interviewing Tip
#HandyHints: “Whereas many view interviews as an interrogation, they really shouldn’t feel that way. Believe it or not, you can be in control of this by asking your interviewer questions, but it’s crucial you ask the right kind of questions.

Our suggestion: Take some time before the interview and plan out some questions to ask your interviewer, that will help you to not only evaluate the position but also evaluate your level of interest for the position. After doing your research is this a job you want? How much? What types of questions do you want to ask now knowing how you feel about the job? Or, what types of questions do you need to know to help you make your decision about the job and if it’s a good fit for you?
When planning out questions to ask to your interviewer, it’s important you ask questions that will help you evaluate the position and not just fluff questions.
For example,… “Are there opportunities for growth? Who within the company will I be working most closely with? What are the company values? What do the daily responsibilities of the role look like, etc.” Another great question to ask might be “What can I do differently to succeed in this role where others have fallen short?” That’s a good one because it gives the impression that you wan to succeed, which hiring managers want to hear, but it also gives you some insight to that road map of success.
